Description

Silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic membranes are an advanced filtration technology, made from high-purity silicon carbide powder through advanced recrystallization and sintering processes. It is renowned for its ultra-high flux, outstanding chemical resistance and long service life, capable of achieving a filtration accuracy as low as 20 nanometers, making it an ideal choice for demanding applications such as semiconductor manufacturing, water purification and industrial separation.

Silicon carbide ceramic membranes are a type of inorganic membrane and belong to solid membrane materials in membrane separation technology. Silicon carbide ceramic membranes are fired at a temperature above 2000℃. The surface of the particles is smooth and round. There are no closed pores or channels in the support layer and each layer. They are usually composed of three layers with different pore sizes (porous support layer, transition layer and separation layer), and are asymmetrically distributed.

Silicon carbide ceramic membranes are produced through a recrystallization firing process at a temperature above 2000℃. The surface of the particles is smooth and round, with good channel connectivity and no closed pores or channels.

Quick Detail:

1. Other names: SiC ceramic membrane, SiC Ceramic, silicon carbide ceramic membrane, SiC Ultrafiltration Membrane for Semiconductor Manufacturing, porous filter cartridges.

2. Main application: Semixlab Silicon Carbide (SiC) Ceramic Membrane is a cutting-edge filtration technology crafted from high-purity silicon carbide powder through advanced recrystallization and sintering processes. Renowned for its ultra-high flux, exceptional chemical resistance, and longevity, it achieves filtration precision down to 20 nm, making it ideal for demanding applications in semiconductor manufacturing, water purification, and industrial separation.

3. Core specification parameters:

The filtration accuracy can reach 20 nanometers.

Corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant and impact-resistant.

Ultra-high flux - The flux is 3 to 6 times that of ceramic membranes and 5 to 30 times that of organic membranes, occupying less space and operating efficiently.

Safer material - ultra-high temperature sintering, single composition, no residue, no heavy metals, medical-grade safety.

Better filtration effect: ultrafiltration and nanofiltration, meeting various water purification requirements. The filtration accuracy covers microfiltration, with an extremely long service life. It can be used for more than 5 years in strong acid, strong alkali and high-temperature environments. Ordinary purified water can be used for more than 20 years.
